Happy Australia Day!

Australia Day

Happy Australia Day to you all. I’ve never tried an open thread before so I’m not sure how this will work but here we go…

All you need to do is leave a comment below telling us about your favourite Australian Music. That’s it!

It could be about your favourite band, song, concert or whatever you like. As long as it’s Aussie.

I’ll kick the conversation off with a few videos of bands I had the pleasure of working with during my days as a touring sound engineer.

James Blundell ‘This Road’
Rick Price ‘A House Divided’

Rick Price Heaven Knows Tour 1992/93

Black Label ‘Addicted’ LIve (with me doing sound 🙂 )
GANGgajang ‘Sounds Of Then’
Celibate Rifles ‘I Shoulda’

The Radiators ‘No Tragedy’
Choirboys ‘Struggletown’
The Angels ‘Waiting For The Sun’

Saw Black Label last night for the first time ever.
Given the hype fed to me by knowing fans, the expectations were high.
The band did not fail to deliver in the slightest.
The Big Talkin’ was definately walked!

Heard ice house and cold chisel in 1982. Can’t forget that time.
