We’re back!

Hi folks, just a short note to explain where the site went over the last few days.

We’ve had a small dilemma lately in that this site is really starting to become popular and had outgrown its’ “budget” server. It had been planned to move the site for a little while now to a bigger and faster server but things got moved forward a bit when our old host became the victim of a malware attack. I won’t go into the technical details here but it basically meant some folks were being diverted to other sites which weren’t what they seemed. Thanks to all those who emailed to alert us to the problem too, it was much appreciated.

All that is behind us now that the site has a new, more secure, and faster server. There is still a bit of testing to go but we are pretty sure we’ve got the whole site moved. If you see a link that doesn’t work or a missing image just drop us an email and we’ll get on to it.

Now that the technical crap is out of the way it’s back to updating the site again and adding a few new features. One that has us quite excited is a “historical gig guide”. Many people have kept their old gig diaries and we are now in the process of adding them to the site. There will be more info about this and an official launch real soon but if you’d like a sneak peek have a look at the Bandanna page for a gig listing from way back in 1985. If you’ve got some old gig guides, diaries or tour sheets from “back in the day” then get in touch and we’ll publish them here.
