Allen (RIP) was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in March 2008 and died at her home in country Western Australia early Tuesday 12 August 2008, aged 53.

      hope that helps

Player One is an Australian studio music group, not international studio music group.

      When in Australia,
      Australian means Aussie’s and Kiwi’s
      LOL

As I’ve explained before, this is a site about the Australian music scene, NOT a site about musicians born in Australia. 🙂

    #FACTCHECK

Yes , certain people are very quick to claim anyone from abroad as ‘Australian’ if they have success and live here, like the ‘Great Aussie’ Alan Bond as one example , until they fail . (Then he was referred to as ‘Failed British migrant’ ) Speaking of another Allen , Christie Allen was born as ‘June Allen’ in the UK and was very proud of her British heritage. Splitz Enz over the years were made up mainly of Kiwis and Brits, and later an Aussie (Paul Hestor for 7 months in 1984) , just before they dis-banded .

Split Enz are as Aussie as the All Blacks!!
