Sherbet - Gimme That Guitar Concert

Gimme That Guitar was a benefit concert held for the late Harvey James at Enmore Theatre on Thursday the 17th of February, 2011. I had the (sad) pleasure of attending the show and it was simply fantastic.

To see around 4000 people turn out to celebrate the life & music of Harvey was incredible. We were treated to a feast of classic Australian music from a genuinely All-Star cast of musicians.

The obvious high point was seeing Sherbet play again after all these years, ably assisted by Lazy Flies guitarist John Sans and Harveys son Gabriel James.

    I can still see Harvey drawing back a huge drag on a fag eyes darting left and then right. Sort of guy who never got old RIP
