Australian Music Blogs

Fans of Australian music blogs are almost spoilt for choice these days which is wonderful. There a few dedicated folks out there who are taking the time to document large chunks of their personal collections & put them online. Some of the memorabilia is incredible & it’s positive to see that all the bands that existed well before the internet won’t be forgotten.

Live Preserver

From the very same GruntRat that brought us Trashed By Time comes another unique Aussie music blog, Live Preserver. His collection includes some extremely rare live recordings of Classic Aussie bands like The Dynamic Hepnotics, Psuedo Echo and The Little Heroes.

1980′s Sydney Gig Posters

Contains exactly what it says folks, Gig Posters from the Sydney live music scene of the 1980′s

Unfortunately the site hasn’t been updated for a few years but the amount of posters on site is large & well worth checking out.

Friday On My Mind

This site is an incredible personal collection of out of print CD’s & Cassettes from a large range of classic Australian artists like Ray Brown and The Whispers, Silverchair, Zoot and The Twilights.
